Discover the Differences: Qi Gong and Taoist Qi Gong with Master Ping

What is Qi Gong:
Qi Gong, also known as Chikung in some regions, is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, deep breathing and mental concentration to cultivate and balance Qi (vital energy) in the body.

The word “Qi” refers to the energy that flows through all living beings, and “Gong” means work or skill. Qi Gong can therefore be translated as “energy work” or “the art of cultivating energy”.

This discipline, which has its roots in Chinese philosophical and medical traditions, has been practiced for thousands of years to improve physical, mental and emotional health, as well as to promote longevity and general well-being.

It is based on the belief that when Qi flows harmoniously and unblocked through the body’s meridians, health and balance are naturally preserved.

What is Taoist Qi Gong:
Taoist Qi Gong is an ancient discipline that combines philosophy, spirituality and physical techniques to harmonize the vital energy, known as Qi, within the body. Deeply rooted in Taoist philosophy, this ancient practice aims to achieve holistic health, promote longevity and foster a profound connection with the universe and its natural cycles.

Born thousands of years ago in China, Taoist Qi Gong is based on the principles of Taoism, a philosophical and spiritual tradition that seeks to live in harmony with the Tao, the “way” or universal principle that governs all that exists. According to this philosophy, the balance between Yin (the feminine, passive principle) and Yang (the masculine, active principle) is essential to maintaining health and well-being. Taoist Qi Gong draws on this concept to balance these opposing forces in the body and allow Qi to circulate freely along the meridians, the energy channels that link the body’s organs and systems.

“Breathe with the universe, and the Qi will lead you to eternal peace.”

— Laozi

You’re being told a bit about the history of Qi Gong.

Qi Gong is a millennia-old art that unites body and mind through gentle movements, relaxed postures, and conscious breathing. This ancient practice awakens your vital energy, the “Qi,” and allows it to flow freely to strengthen your organs, rejuvenate your body, and bring inner calm. It’s an experience that connects you to yourself and fills you with well-being.

Its roots lie in China, over 4,000 years ago, with rituals and dances to harmonize with nature. During the Zhou Dynasty, more than 1,000 years BC, influenced by Taoism, it began to be structured as a way to cultivate Qi and improve health, as noted in ancient texts like the Huangdi Neijing from the 3rd century BC.

Over time, Qi Gong was enriched by Confucian and Buddhist ideas. During the Han Dynasty, it became integrated into traditional Chinese medicine to balance yin and yang. In medieval China, Taoist and Buddhist monks refined it in their monasteries, using it to live longer and find spiritual peace. This is how it became a unique tool for both body and soul.

Master Ping, a great master of static and Taoist Qi Gong, invites you to discover this path to balance. Join his Zoom sessions, wherever you are, and feel the magic of Qi!

Balance your vital energy with Maître Ping thanks to the Qi Gong

Static Qi Gong is a practice in which the body remains immobile on the outside, but performs a deep internal work of purification, cellular regeneration and accumulation of vital energy (Qi). Practitioners develop their inner strength through relaxed postures and conscious breathing, allowing Qi to circulate freely.

The great Qi Gong master, Master Ping, uses the laying on of hands to transmit refined Qi to the receiver. This energy removes blockages, nourishes the internal organs and strengthens the body and mind. During the transmission, the receiver may feel a sensation of warmth, tingling or deep relaxation, reflecting the energetic balance and improvement taking place internally. Although the benefits of Qi Gong are not fully scientifically proven, it can improve overall well-being and strengthen essential systems such as the immune system.

Each session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes, as it takes about 10 minutes for the receiver to accept the energy sent. In addition, the entire meridian pathway takes about 28 minutes.

The great Qi Gong master, Maître Ping, offers you the possibility to participate in his Qi (vital energy) sessions for only 66 euros per month. And join his community of students.
